It's the growing into the new space - its the tension between old and new forms - between business and the rest - the search for the rational explanation - but more so - the bounds of the flesh the longing - that cosmic seeking - of common comic approval - interruption - the silliness of seeking perfection that's already there - and the regret of not achieving it - to see the neurosis' clearly - the Woody Allen example - "it's not that I'm afraid of dying, I just don't wanna be there when it happens" - knowing but not believing, but knowing - big surprises, and the accepting of gifts - real ones - static - sweet mysterious silences - the guitar that won't stay in tune - causing pain - of losing the love in the conventional way - by putting the loved one in a box - by finishing their sentences for them - by preparing them their favorite dishes all the time - by making it easy on them - by jealousy - by not recognizing the gifts are for you - by not seeing intelligence, mistaking it for method - suspiciously - of giving in, giving up - to the light instead of playing with it - of bad habits & the idea that we miss things - of awe.
"SHALLOW UNDERSTANDING FROM PEOPLE OF GOOD WILL IS MORE FRUSTRATING THAN ABSOLUTE MISUNDERSTANDING FROM PEOPLE OF ILL WILL" - Martin Luther King
