Scientists recently have show that the moon is moving away from the Earth at a tiny, measurable distance every year.

dinosaur extinction theoryIf you do the math, you can calculate that 85 million years ago the moon was orbiting the Earth at a distance of around 15 meters from the Earth's surface.

This would easily explain the extinction of the dinosaurs, especially the tall ones...
